Led by Emma Henderson
ORH is led by Emma Henderson, a civil engineer and hydrogeologist with experience in major infrastructure planning and a long-standing interest in humanitarian water access. The idea grew from work in water-scarce communities and from exploring how offshore environments could support new forms of decentralised supply.
The project is exploratory and in early development. Its purpose is to investigate whether offshore rainfall could play a role in future water-resource strategies for both communities and industry, particularly in coastal regions facing increasing pressure on freshwater availability.
